Capitol Water Trails (CWT) has scheduled three river-clean up days on the Sugar River in 2017, including this Saturday May 13 from 9 am to 1 pm. Workday activities typically include removing trash, clearing enough room for canoes to navigate the river, and making a safer overall experience on the river.
For 2017, CWT has scheduled river clean up days on the Sugar River for May 13, May 27, and June 10. Each of these workdays are on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. You can find details for each workday on the CWT Calendar of Events or by contacting Steve Falter at email@example.com.
Volunteers can count on getting a little messy, so please dress appropriately. It’s recommended to wear a pair of old tennis shoes and clothing that dries easily, or waders if you’d rather not get wet.
