Volunteer For A Committee
As a way to achieve our goals, Upper Sugar has established committees to specialize in specific areas and facilitate the important work done by the organization. All members and non-members are welcome to be part of one or more of these committees, and many of these committees only meet once per month or less.
Communication & Research Committee
This committee is focused on a variety of topics including citizen science projects, educational programs, and communications (email, website, newsletters) that are distributed publicly on behalf of the organization.
Fundraising Committee
This committee is focused on targeting sources of income and potential fundraising opportunities and strategically reaching out to them.
Event Planning Committee
This committee serves in a supporting role to plan annual events like the Annual Meeting, Burning Troll, and other smaller events.
Membership Committee
This committee works to maintain a relationship with Upper Sugar members and produce communications to the membership.
